The lack of an efficient and on-demand scooter app was the primary challenge that Raine eScooter suffered. Their existing solution was required to support the eScooter and deliver a seamless experience to the user. However, this raised the overall cost and time of production.

The Opportunity

Mark Alexander (Co-founder & CEO, Raine) realized the need for a user-friendly eScooter tech solution to deliver the convenience and functionality a rider expects.
Raine eScooter needed Bluetooth integration to connect the app with the eScooter. The existing system failed to provide a trouble-free, safe e-scooter ecosystem for its customers, paving the way for AllRide to support the business.

The Solution

Integrating a complete suite of hand-picked features was the key to helping Raine eScooter take its existing business to the next level. The off-the-shelf electric scooter app software has as many features as an eScooter needs.

“We wanted to take a brand new look at a scooter and what it is. There are a lot of companies out there that just sort of buy random parts from other suppliers and just mush the scooter together, so to speak. AllRide came up with a solution - it offered a smart technology solution to meet the client’s specific branding and content needs. AllRide delivered the app with a robust management system that offers complete visibility, control, and analytics to the rider in a fraction of the time.

Comprehensive Fleet Management System

AllRide E-bike’s robust and high-end approach effectively met Raine's multiple needs. The fleet management system delivered an advanced application seamlessly integrated with Raine’s hardware

1. Create an all-purpose application

AllRide recognized the potential of the Raine e-scooter. It was equipped with several connective and data points, so it needed software to use and display its features to the user, such as battery level and progress. The team focused on creating a full-fledged app to showcase all the features related to the e-scooter.

2. Integration was the next step

To address the challenge of integration between hardware and software, they worked on this part as a Point of Concept (POC). The team came up with a POC static design for Android and iOS. The application was tested, which gave them an idea of how the app would work in the real world.

3. Connecting the app with the scooter

The AllRide team worked hard on the technical aspect of the scooter, and the pairing of the e-scooter and app was successfully done using Bluetooth technology.

4. Working in coordination with Raine

The AllRide team closely collaborated with Raine professionals and followed the shared hardware protocols. They updated all the software changes in accordance with the hardware structure.

5. Decked with all new features

Raine used AllRide services and integrated all significant features in their e-scooter app. Everything was installed and rightly integrated into the app, from displaying the power, battery, range, security lock, speed control GPS access, and selecting the driving mode to lighting information. Not just this, using the AllRide eScooter app, a user could easily lock and unlock their scooter.

    Change between ride settings- smart mode, rocket mode, and eco mode.

    Includes and controls ride quickly in one, all-inclusive dashboard.

  • + Regenerative Braking:

    Control the brakes while riding through the app. A hardware system was included in the e-scooter and then integrated into the app.

  • + Geo-tracking:

    The app supports real-time geo-tracking of e-scooters with in-app features like on-map tracking, geofencing, and route optimization.

  • + Comprehensive Dashboard:

    The control system allows the users to check the location of their bikes and manage it using the app. From checking the speed limit, braking system, lighting, and safety checks, users can do a lot here.

  • + Search my eScooter:

    GPS tracking helps to keep the rider's status updated from any location.

  • + Route optimization:

    Riders can access data of their estimated ride duration and notifications related to the time to start and end the ride.

  • + App settings:

    Major settings like language, lighting, traction control, and information about the vehicle were available here

  • + Management System:

    The management system allows the users to keep an eye on the eScooter and gain complete visibility of its working. It also gives access to multiple features, from different management tools to damaged scooter monitoring
